    Job Description

    The Town of Truckee is recruiting a Senior Accountant to perform a wide variety of duties for the Administrative Services Department. This position coordinates and leads the preparation of the annual budget and annual financial report, which requires complex staffing calculations, detailed reports and presentation of materials. This candidate will also assist with annual audits, grant administration and various projects and research. Advanced Excel skill required.

    The Town of Truckee is an incorporated city known for its safe, close-knit community with approximately 16,500 year-round residents and an economy driven by tourism. Truckee encompasses nearly 34 square miles, and its population can swell to over 45,000 when visitors come to the area for winter and summer seasonal outdoor activities and the historic old-town charm.
