The Health Services Appointment Unit Manager leads the staff and activities in the Appointment Unit and Financial Counseling Call Centers. The Appointment unit supports both inbound and outbound patient calls, specialty clinic scheduling, and clinic cancelations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support staff and patients in achieving timely resolutions.

The eligible list established form this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Possession of a high school diploma, G.E.D equivalency, or high school proficiency certificate.
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time experience or its equivalent as a hospital or clinic billing or appointment clerk with increasing responsibility, at least two (2) years of which was in a supervisory capacity.
Certificate: Must possess and maintain EPIC Cadence certification

Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.
Behavioral Consistency Questionnaire (BCQ): Candidates that clearly demonstrate that they possess the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a behavioral consistency writing exercise. Candidates will be asked to provide written responses to scenario-based questions designed to evaluate candidates core competencies as they relate to the job. These may include but are not limited to: Delivering Results, Displaying Ownership & Accountability, Customer Focus, Leveraging Technology and Writing. Candidates must achieve an average passing score on each of the competencies to pass the overall assessment and be placed on the eligible list.
