The Town of Apple Valley is located in the heart of the Victor Valley in the County of San Bernardino. Under general direction of the Town Manager, the Director of Finance is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive financial purchasing and data processing program and for directing the activities of the departments providing financial services to the Town of Apple Valley. The Town of Apple Valley is seeking an experienced, collaborative leader to serve as the new Director of Finance. The Town is looking for someone that will provide administrative and professional leadership and direction for the Finance Department and Town while exhibiting sufficient initiative to accomplish assigned tasks with minimum direction. The ideal candidate will have a strong, proven background in accounting and possess the ability to prepare and administer large and complex budgets while allocating limited resources in a cost-effective manner.

The annual salary range for the Director of Finance is $134,616 to $190,212; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
