    Workers' Compensation - Claims Adjuster I (Grade 18) - Salary Range: $55,037.00 to $94,411.00
    Workers' Compensation - Claims Adjuster II (Grade 20) - Salary Range: $70,179.00 to $120,411.00

    Rate of pay depends on qualifications and level of position.

    Workers' Compensation - Claims Adjuster I:
    JOB SUMMARY

    The Claims Adjuster I is primarily responsible for investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating, and handling workers’ compensation claims in accordance with Best Practices and in compliance with all City, State, and Federal regulatory laws. The Claims Adjuster I will also work to learn and gain experience in the handling and investigation all relevant facts for other lines of insurance (liability and subrogation) submitted by/to SAWS. This position promptly and equitably resolves claims to minimize SAWS’ liability and reduces overall claims costs.

    Workers' Compensation - Claims Adjuster II:
    JOB SUMMARY

    The Claims Adjuster II is responsible for moderate to complex claims including investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating, and handling workers’ compensation claims in accordance with Best Practices and in compliance with all City, State, and Federal regulatory laws. The Claims Adjuster II will also work to learn and gain experience in the handling and investigation all relevant facts for multiple lines of insurance (liability and subrogation) submitted by/to SAWS. This position promptly and equitably resolves claims to minimize SAWS’ liability and reduces overall claims costs.
