    Human Resources is looking for a dynamic, service-driven Human Resources Data Analyst with a strong background in identifying data to analyze, collecting it, cleaning it to ensure accuracy, analyzing it using statistical or computational methods, and interpreting the results. The data analyst will need to present their findings through visualizations like charts and graphs, reports, or presentations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

    Key responsibilities of the data analyst include gathering data through surveys or tracking systems, cleaning raw data to remove errors or duplicates, modeling data by designing database structures, and interpreting data to identify trends or patterns. They will also play a crucial role in presenting actionable insights to help organizations make informed decisions.

    To perform these tasks, the data analysts will use tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. They'll also rely on statistical and mathematical knowledge to ensure accurate analysis. Strong problem-solving, communication, and industry-specific knowledge are essential skills for success in this role.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

    Travel: Travel throughout the County is required. Employees may be required to make provision for transportation (mileage reimbursement is available at current IRS rates). A valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be maintained for the individual providing the transportation.

    Minimum Requirements

    A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral/Social/Health Science, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Communications/Marketing or a closely related field.

    AND

    One (1) year of experience performing data analysis, reporting, or program evaluation, with experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, or Tableau.
